I booked flight tickets from an agent in USA to travel to Chennai from Cedar Rapids, IA. I had no problems with the tickets or travel as such. But when I went to India, upon checking my credit card statement, I discovered that an alert was placed on my account. I checked to see what transactions had posted to my account and found two air tickets purchased with my credit card (One was on Kuwait Airways and another was on Malaysian Airlines) which were not authorized by me.
I immediately called my credit card co from India and had them block my credit card account. As soon as I returned to USA, I sent them an affidavit with the fraudulent transactions marked and notarized. This case is still under investigation.
